Creating a social media masterplan for a web development agency
What do you do when your business feels invisible online, and you don’t have the in-house resources to change that?
BlackCat Content partnered with a web development agency to manage their full-stack social media presence across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
The goal was to build a cohesive multi-platform content system, one that strengthened brand authority and increased visibility, while ensuring each platform served a clear, strategic purpose.

Lack of experience in Facebook groups.
Inconsistent posting over the past 2 years.
Unsure about what content works well on Facebook.
Not enough time to dedicate to the platform.
The business hurdles
The project
The challenge
The organisation’s Facebook page wasn’t showcasing the depth of their web solutions expertise. Posting was inconsistent, and much of the content was simply repurposed from Instagram or LinkedIn rather than designed for Facebook’s feed and audience. Native features like link previews, video posts, and carousel formats weren’t being used effectively, limiting reach and engagement.
Our approach
1. Content designed for the feed: Each post was tailored to Facebook’s strengths, long-form text posts, link previews, carousel posts, and native videos, highlighting the agency’s EB solutions expertise.
2. Community & Interaction: Content was optimised to spark meaningful discussions, encourage comments, and drive engagement, creating a sense of credibility and trust in the brand.
3. Building smart, repeatable processes: Clear processes were put in place for planning, production, and publishing, making the system easier to maintain and scale without adding internal workload.
The real impact

Over three months, the Facebook page saw measurable improvements in reach and engagement. Posts reached a wider, more targeted audience, driving meaningful interactions with the agency’s content. With consistent posting and platform-specific strategies, Facebook became a dependable channel for visibility and credibility.
Facebook shifted from an underutilised platform to a strategic channel for the agency.
